Hamilton Trade School

Trade Schools for the Future enable young people to gain nationally accredited practical skills for work while they are still at school. School Based Apprenticeship Brokers connect students who are interested in becoming apprentices or trainees with a range of local industries, businesses and training organisations.

Hamilton is the administration centre for the Inner South Metro Trade Schools for the Future which services the needs of students from across the region who are interested in obtaining a School-based Apprenticeship.

Our School Based Apprenticeship Brokers, Russell Atwell and John Callaghan, and the Trade School’s Assistant Principal, Luke Northcote, are based here at Hamilton Secondary College. They provide student access to School Based Traineeships and Apprenticeships in industry sectors in the South-Western corner of Adelaide’s metropolitan area where there is a growing demand for skilled workers. They also provide curriculum support to schools and students hoping to develop skills in their chosen industry.
