South Australian Space School

Hamilton Secondary College has been the focus for the South Australian Space School activities since 1997. The SA Space School is a 3 day residential conference during school holidays and is staffed predominantly by teachers from Hamilton Secondary College.

Each year 40 students in year 10 who are interested in a career in science, especially space science, engineering, physics or astronomy are selected from schools all over metropolitan and country SA.

The Space School has close links with NASA and the European Space Agency and we have been fortunate to have had 12 astronauts and the even the Head of NASA speak at our school over the years.

For further information about the program, contact Mr Mike Roach, or follow the link to the Space School website.
