Enrolment Process

Students enrol into Hamilton Secondary College at each year level.

Most students enrol into year 8 through the normal transition process at their Primary School. Otherwise enrolments occur by making appointments with the Student Counsellors. Enquiries 82758360 or secondary.campus@hamcoll.sa.edu.au

Students make application to enrol into Years 9 to 12 by making appointments with the Student Counsellors. Enquiries 82758360 or secondary.campus@hamcoll.sa.edu.au

Adult students wishing to enrol can do so by making an appointment with an Adult counsellor. Enquiries 8275 8325 or adult.campus@hamcoll.sa.edu.au

Adult students are at least 18 years of age or have been out of schooling for at least 6 months. There is no maximum age and part time, mature age students are encouraged. From 2012, the SA Government’s policy is that adults seeking subsidised places in Department for Education and Childhood Development schools must be enrolled in the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). Adult student enrolments are confirmed by the payment of course fees.
