their own for avarietyof purposes andaudiences. Connections aremadebetweendifferent
texts in termsof thedifferent techniqueswhichwritersuse todealwith themes and issues.
There is anemphasison the further development of skills in reading,writing, listeningand
speaking inavarietyof situations.
