Hamilton SecondaryCollege joinedwithAIME –Australian IndigenousMentoring
Experience program, providing links toUniversity and other career pathways.
August
UshikuHigh School from Japan visited theCollege for a short term study tour.
Art byHamilton adult students was displayed at theCentreGallery in theDECD
building, 31 Flinders Street in the city and at GalleryM, MarionCultural Centre.
Included in the exhibitionwas work from students in art, textiles photography and
art textiles courses.

Hamilton students collected a total of 20 prizes in theDesign andTechnology
competition, including Best Exhibit in Show awards, at the annual Royal Show.
Adult Learners’Weekwas celebratedwith a barbecue for students of theCollege.
October
TheAnnual HamiltonArts Showcasewas held celebratingmusic and dance
achievements.
Health and Physical EducationWeekwas celebratedwhere students are exposed
to an array of different sports and healthy foods.
Year 12 students were farewelled by theYears 8-11 student body.

HostedChinese delegation of teachers looking at VET at Hamilton Secondary
College.
Hosted Indonesian teachers visit.
RitsumeikanHigh School from Japan arrived for a short term visit.
