Enrolment Process

Decisions about enrolment in the Hamilton Disability Unit are made at the District level, not by the College or the Unit.

 

Once negotiations have been finalised,

Staff at the Unit will:
• Provide you with an enrolment package
• Work with you and your child’s original school to plan the transition process
• Explain our uniform and behaviour management policies
• Answer any questions you may have

We need you to:
• Complete an enrolment form for the Unit
• Complete transport forms
• Meet with staff to update Health Support Plans
• Take part in a review of your child’s Negotiated Education Plan if this has not been part of the
   transition process
