Student Wellbeing

The Adult counselling service assists students with enrolment, subject selection and pathways counselling; and also provides students with support to help solve problems that may be impacting on their learning. Students can discuss their learning and workload difficulties, personal issues and grievances in a caring, confidential and respectful environment. The counsellor may be able to offer helpful advice, ensure students’ learning needs are communicated to teachers or may refer students to useful agencies where appropriate. A number of social events including barbeques and morning teas are also planned to occur over the year to encourage adult students to get to know each other and feel comfortable within the school.
